REINDEER ROUNDUP
Santa has lost his sleigh reindeer! Unfortunately, he can't deliver Christmas goodies to all the little girls and boys until he finds them.
Lucky for him, the best tundra trackers (Tokotas!) are on the job!
How it works!
For each full body image (colored and shaded with background and handler) of your tokota and rider searching for, locating, observing, or (non-violently!) chasing after Santa's reindeer in the tundra, it will be rolled just like exploration (albeit with slightly increased chances to find better loot than in regular exploration!)
Tack bonuses will not apply.
You have a chance to either turn up with nothing, bring back junk, or maybe bring back one of Santa's trainee reindeer as a companion for your tokotas!
You may draw any of the reindeer listed at the bottom of the journal. Up to four tokotas may be pictured, but each tokota must have it's own handler.
This event starts on the 7th of December and will only last until the 25th of December!
*NOTE FOR WRITERS!: To include everyone, literature will be absolutely allowed- but entries must utilize decent grammar, punctuation, and relevance. The word minimum will be 2000 words.
The goal:
The lucky person who manages to find all of santa's reindeer will get to keep all of them as companions for each of their tokotas (or give them away; their choice!), earn a breeding to Nanook 01, and a special "Santa's Helper" achievement badge to go on the award wall of the Tokota that finds the final missing reindeer!
Keep in mind, these reindeer companions will be (indefinitely) exclusively only able to be earned in December of this year, but will give benefits and last forever just like any other companion!
At the same time, even if you don't earn the big achievement, you will be able to find and keep the various reindeer companions that you do find, and any other explorations you locate along the way.
Judging:
All entries will be judged periodically until the end date on the 25th of December.
These are judged exactly like exploration, which means that they rely completely upon RNG!
Still, we ask that you use your best effort in keeping with the holiday spirit and have fun with your pictures instead of spamming quick entries to try to get ahead! Anyone seen doing so will be disqualified from the event.
Still, don't be intimidated if your art quality isn't the best, we know the difference between entries from less experienced artists, and lack of effort!
How to submit an entry!
First step: Make sure you have an expedition journal. If you don't have one for exploring, hunting or fishing, create one. You may use the same journal as for hunting/exploring/fishing. You can put this in sta.sh writer or have it public. This will be a "bank" of all your found items. All you need in the content of the journal is at the very minimum a thumbnail or link to your tokota's import sheet. TotemSpirit or an admin ofTokotas will comment to let you know your result. This is your only official proof. If you delete the journal, all of your earned/found items will no longer be valid. Comments from anyone other than TotemSpirit or an admin of Tokotas are not valid.

Then, submit your image to the "reindeer roundup" folder in the group gallery.
If you do not submit it to the group, it will not be judged.
