Information about Crafting

Crafting Price Sheet

Recipes are used to unlock the list of ingredients needed to make various beneficial items for your Tokota. You can find recipes via exploration, caving, and diving that will unlock new items for you to make. Additionally, lower-rarity recipes can be used to craft higher-rarity recipes!

Please note that this list only contains the recipes that require recipe scrolls to be unlocked. There are other things on the Crafting Price Sheet that may be crafted that do not require a recipe scroll to craft.

Recipes

There are five different recipes total, but there are four kinds of recipes you can find, color-coded according to their rarity. Common, Uncommon, and Rare recipes can be found through exploration, caving, and diving. Legendary recipes can only be found via caving and diving. Legendary recipe items may be crafted twice per month per recipe until you reach Tier 10 where the bonus allows for an extra legendary recipe to be crafted per month per recipe. The fifth type of recipe, Totem recipes, may be crafted using Legendary recipe scrolls. Any items crafted, found, or made via recipes may be sold, gifted, etc.

Each recipe will unlock the blueprints to a "hidden" item, and the ability to craft it for whoever possesses the recipe in their Recipe Book. Recipe scrolls can only be sold/traded to another member before they have been revealed.

Fish Cake Casserole

Benefit: +10 bonus to any group-sanctioned show. Stacks with other show bonuses (except Sushi Roll).

Scent Rag

Ingredients: x1 Sewing Needle, x1 Wool, x1 Cotton Bolt
Benefit: 5% Increase to catch rare pelts while hunting.

Meat Jerky

Ingredients: x1 Small Meat Chunks, x1 Salt, x1 Vinegar
Benefit: Provides a +5 bonus to any group-sanctioned fishing, hunting, agility, or mounted (dressage, jumping, mounted shooting, etc) competitions.

Berry Tart

Ingredients: x3 Berries (any), x1 Flour, x1 Vinegar, x1 Sugar Cubes
Benefit: Provides +1 per bonus for up to three HP bonuses for a single tokota in a single image. Does not stack.

Decoy Duck

Ingredients: x1 Log, x2 Length of Wire, x1 Fabric Dye, x1 Knife
Benefit: Guaranteed to bring back up to five mallards on top of your successful bird hunt roll.

Homemade Bait

Ingredients: x2 Small Meat Chunks, x1 Length of String
Benefit: Increases chance of catching rarer fish by 10%. Stacks twice. Recipe makes 3 bait.

Crafted Hand Paint Dyes

Ingredients: x1 Black Currant, x1 Vinegar, x1 Yarrow
Benefit: Works the same as Trading Post Hand Paint Dyes.

Overnight Rations

Ingredients: x1 Small Meat Chunks, x1 Berries (any), x1 Cooking Pot
Benefit: Provides a +5 bonus to group-sanctioned overnight, endurance, or sledding competition.

Tasty Tokota Yummies

Fox Trap

Hunting Snare

Ingredients: x2 Leather Strips, x1 Wire Spool, x1 Small Bone Fragments
Benefit: Small increased chance at finding rare pelts during a hunt. Tribe hunting only.

Toko Teddy

Ingredients: x2 Wool, x1 Sewing Needle, x2 Length of String
Benefit: Reduces the amount of HP needed for Average/Dom by 5 HP. Applied to Award Wall. Does not take up a companion slot.

Herbalist Gloves

Ingredients: x1 Cotton Bolt, x1 Thread Spool, x1 Sewing Needle
Benefit: Provides a small increase to successfully craft items using berries or plants.

Rabbit Trap

Ingredients: x2 Berries (any), x1 Length of Wire, x1 Stick
Benefit: Guarantees x1 very rare rabbit pelt on top of a successful hunting roll.

Crafted Lantern

Ingredients: x5 Glass Shards, x1 Stick, x1 Wire Spool
Benefit: Increases chance of finding rarer items while exploring by 20%; reduces possibility of failing an expedition to 1%. Replaces Bright Flashlight. Permanent.

Crafted Caving Gear

Ingredients: x1 Thread Spool, x5 Leather Strips, x1 Glass Shard
Benefit: Increases chance of finding rarer items while caving by 20%; reduces possibility of failing a caving trip to 1%. Replaces Carbon Fiber Rope. Permanent.

Crafted Oxygen Tank

Ingredients: x1 Iron Ore, x5 Leather Strips, x1 Glass Shard
Benefit: Increases chance of collecting rarer items while diving by 20%; reduces possibility of failing a diving trip to 1%. Replaces Oxygen Tank. Permanent.

Dominance Talisman

Ingredients: x1 Thread Spool, x1 Knife, x2 Leather Strips, x1 Large Bone Fragments
Benefit: Adds a bonus of +10 to a Rite of Dominance score. Can only be used once per Dominance application.

Crafter Kit

Ingredients: x1 Leather Strips, x2 Log, x1 Wire Spool, x1 Fabric Dye
Benefit: Any items used in a single recipe will have a 25% chance to be kept if the attempt fails. One time use.

Fishing Net

Ingredients: x3 Thread Spool, x2 Wire Spool, x1 Log, x2 Sewing Needles
Benefit: Guarantees maximum allotted items in a successful fishing trip. One time use.

Homemade Small Item

Ingredients: x1 Wire Spool, x1 Thread Spool, x1 Decorative Tassels, x1 Feathers, x1 Knife, x1 Sewing Needle
Benefit: Creates one Small Item. Works the same way as a Trading Post Small Item.

Bird Call

Ingredients: x2 Small Bone Fragments, x1 Feathers, x2 Sticks, x1 Knife
Benefit: Guarantees maximum allotted items in a successful bird hunt. One time use.

Puppy Chow

Ingredients: x3 Small OR x2 Large Meat Chunks, x1 Blueberries, x1 Strawberries, x1 Flour, x1 Cooking Pot
Benefit: Provides a small increase of chance at finding abandoned pups during Exploration (one per activity). One time use.

Gecko Food

Ingredients: x2 Refined Honey, x1 Small Meat Chunks, x1 Strawberries, x1 Blackberries, x1 Stick, x1 Cooking Pot
Benefit: Small increase of chance to find a Tapetoe companion while Caving or Diving. One time use.

Masculine Potion

Ingredients: x1 Salt, x2 Small Meat Chunks, x2 Blackberries, x1 Cooking Pot
Benefit: When applied to any breeding, the litter will result in all male pups. One time use.

Feminine Potion

Ingredients: x1 Sugar Cubes, x1 Bag of Spices, x1 Raspberries, x1 Cooking Pot
Benefit: When applied to any breeding, the litter will result in all female pups. One time use.

Caribou Call

Ingredients: x2 Small Bone Fragments, x1 Large Bone Fragments, x2 Sticks, x1 Knife
Benefit: Guarantees maximum allotted items in a successful caribou hunt. One time use.

Cookie Sheet

Ingredients: x2 Logs, x1 Knife, x3 Wire Spool
Benefit: Provides a small chance to double successfully crafted edible items and potions. Recipe makes two Cookie Sheets.

Saturation Shake

Ingredients: x2 Refined Honey, x1 Sugar Cubes, x1 Vinegar, x1 Black Currants, x1 Strawberries, x1 Pumpkin, x1 Cooking Pot
Benefit: Reduces the odds of greying passing in a litter. One time use.

Focus Leash

Ingredients: x3 Leather Strips, x2 Wire Spool, x1 Sewing Needle
Benefit: Prevents the chance of finding crafting items in Exploring.

Sewing Machine

Ingredients: x1 Sewing Needle, x2 Thread Spool, x1 Log, x1 Cotton Bolt
Benefit: 10% chance to double the item crafted when used in place of a Sewing Needle in Common and Uncommon Recipes. One time use.

HP Scroll

Ingredients: x3 Berries (any), x1 Decorative Tassels, x1 Linen Bolt OR x1 Cotton Bolt
Benefit: Works the same way as HP Tokens (+2 HP). Link to proof of successful craft in the HP tracker of a tokota of your choice as proof of HP scroll. One time use.

Premium Meat Jerky

Leather Guards

Benefit: +10 bonus towards any Faction Brawl entry.

Jewelled Pickaxe

Ingredients: x2 Logs, x2 Wire Spool, x3 Gems (any)
Benefit: Increases probability of finding gems while on a Caving trip. Stacks with other Caving items.

Tiny Terrors Tincture

Trait Tome

Ingredients: x5 Leather Strips, x1 Sewing Needle, x2 Thread Spool, x1 Log, x3 Iron Ore, x3 Flax Fibers OR x3 Cotton Fibers
Benefit: Allows the removal of one non-physical trait from an uploaded Tokota, which is then returned to your bank. One time use.
Cannot be used to remove Unique Traits, traits applied with an Elemental Heart, or traits earned via the Rites of Fertility or Passage of the Alpha.
Any traits upgraded with an Elemental Heart will lose their upgrade upon removal (i.e. removing Mediator II would place Mediator into your bank).
Cannot be used on unuploaded genotypes.

Iridescent Lure

Benefit: Allows a small possibility of finding Reindeer via exploration.

Light Elixir

Benefit: Guarantees one randomly chosen pup will inherit the lightest coat color possible in the breeding. Cannot be used in breedings with Akotas, or breedings where the sire and dam have the same base coat.

Metamorphosis Mixture

Ingredients:  x1 Stone of Aippaq, x5 Red Currant, x5 Blueberries, x1 Bag of Spices, x1 Sugar Cube, x1 Salt and x1 Cooking Pot
Benefit: Allows the gender of one undesigned geno to be changed. One time use.

Coyote Totem

Hawk Totem

FAQ

Can recipe reveals fail?

No, they cannot fail. When you have revealed all recipes of whichever rarity you are redeeming, you will be notified that you have revealed all possible recipes of that rarity.

Will recipe reveals be duplicates of what I already have?

No. Each reveal will be unique until you have revealed all recipes. Unlocked recipes are permanent.

Can I just look at someone else's revealed recipes to craft items?

No. Each reveal is personal to each player, and you must reveal a recipe yourself in order to craft the item. Additionally, recipes may only be traded before revealing, not after.

I can see all the recipes here. Does that mean I can automatically craft all of these?

No. You must have the recipe unlocked before you are able to use it. You can redeem your recipe scrolls to have a recipe randomly unlocked on the current Crafting journal

There are craftable items on the Crafting Price Sheet that aren't here. Why aren't they here? Do I need a scroll for those?

This list is only for recipes that need a scroll to be unlocked. If an item's ingredients are listed on the price sheet (i.e. medicated bandages, warm blanket, thread spool, etc), that is their recipe. You do not need a scroll to unlock or craft those recipes.

What counts as a gem for the recipes that require them?

Gems that may be used in crafting are: sapphire, ruby, amethyst, emerald, diamond, opal, tiger's eye, amber, malachite, quartz, and jasper.
